She strode within her castle walls,
Alone, the Queen of Ice;
For she needed none to hold her high,
To melt her in a trice.
She walked along the corridors,
Alone, her head held high;
She wasn't heard to ever make,
A sound or e'en a sigh.
Her bolts of chilling cold she threw,
At all who dared approach;
She killed with words whoever did,
Her castle walls encroach.
Many saw the beauty that shone,
Out through her crystal skin;
Yet none could pierce the ice and see,
That beauty lay within.
For the castle was, but, a facade,
The ice was not complete;
For within it lay a loving heart,
That craved warmth with every beat.
Alone, the Queen of Ice;
For she needed none to hold her high,
To melt her in a trice.
She walked along the corridors,
Alone, her head held high;
She wasn't heard to ever make,
A sound or e'en a sigh.
Her bolts of chilling cold she threw,
At all who dared approach;
She killed with words whoever did,
Her castle walls encroach.
Many saw the beauty that shone,
Out through her crystal skin;
Yet none could pierce the ice and see,
That beauty lay within.
For the castle was, but, a facade,
The ice was not complete;
For within it lay a loving heart,
That craved warmth with every beat.
